Postdoctoral Researcher, Bioengineering Department, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M)
In 2014, I graduated in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and later completed an MSc in Bioinformatics at KU Leuven, gaining expertise in computational biology, artificial intelligence, and data science. Back in UC3M I focused on tissue engineering and began a PhD on developing a methodology for creating hair follicles using 3D bioprinting, which I defended in December 2021. In 2023 as a Margarita Salas Postdoctoral Fellow, I spent a year at Columbia University’s Dermatology Department, furthering my training in hair follicle and sweat gland development.
