Dr Gill Westgate has an established consultancy business, combining her experience and knowledge of skin and hair science with the needs of R&D in Industry. She has experience in both industry and academic sectors with many years working for Unilever UK R&D and then at the University of Bradford, UK. Gill has published many papers and book chapters and collaborates with teams in both industry and academia. She is a Board member of the International Federation of Hair Research Societies and a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists. She serves on the organising committees for UK and international conferences and is very well known in the hair research field.
