Javier Mira Otal, is married and has four children. He has a degree and doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the Central University of Barcelona, specialty in Internal Medicine and a postgraduate master’s degree as a doctor in the Pharmaceutical Industry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Hospital Sant Pau i la Santa Creu (Barcelona).
After finishing the specialty he developed his medical work in various Hospital Centers of Spain with special dedication to the areas of internal medicine and emergency room area, later on he develops positions linked to clinical research in various pharmaceutical companies: Pierre Fabre, Zambon Group, Sandoz, and from this time he is responsible for the medical management in Organon, Schering-Plow and currently Lacer Laboratories.
He has various international positions as a fellow or lecturer in institutions such as the Mario Negri Institute in Milan or the Sandoz Research Foundation in Basel, as well as several national universities such as Valencia or Barcelona.
Author of several articles in national and international medical journals with special attention to the areas of internal medicine, psychiatry, gynecology and areas of personal care or self-care.
Writing of posters and oral presentations and presentations in various conferences or meetings nationally and internationally, in relation to their expertise.
He has participated in various media as a scientific disseminator (TV3, El País, Newspaper, Radio Cadena SER, Radio Madrid, etc.)
His personal hobbies are first family and friends combined with sailing and the restoration of antiques.
